Job Summary

The Munich Municipal Drainage Authority is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team at the Gut Großlappen wastewater treatment plant. This role is crucial for ensuring high water quality standards in the region. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing samples, creating calibration solutions, and performing complex chemical analyses using methods such as UV-VIS photometry, gravimetric determinations, and gas chromatography. The technician will also handle minor maintenance of lab equipment, coordinate external services, and manage the procurement of consumables and spare parts. The ideal candidate must have a completed professional qualification as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical-Technical Assistant, possess strong knowledge of chemical analytics, and demonstrate excellent coordination, accuracy, and teamwork skills.
