Job Summary

The University of Münster is seeking a dedicated IT System Administrator to join the IVV2 team, the decentralized IT service provider for the Faculty of Economic Sciences. This role involves providing essential customer support and technical consultation to approximately 1,000 users and administering around 150 server systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include the installation and administration of clients across Microsoft, Apple, and Linux environments, managing Microsoft Windows Servers, ensuring high system availability, and resolving technical disruptions. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree or vocational training in IT System Integration, coupled with hands-on experience managing multi-platform client systems and Microsoft server infrastructure, including Active Directory.
