Job Summary

This fixed-term, full-time position in Freiburg requires a specialist to drive the comprehensive implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) within the Regional Council's road and environmental planning projects. The core mission involves establishing, updating, and communicating uniform BIM standards across various federal and state infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality planning, cost and schedule certainty, and efficient procedures. Daily tasks include active participation in the BIM team, developing necessary tools and processes, and potentially conducting internal training sessions. Furthermore, the role involves digital project steering, coordinating project stakeholders, and rigorously documenting, structuring, and controlling the overall consistent digital model, alongside managing the associated timeline and budget. Candidates must possess a university-level degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Informatics, or a related field, coupled with strong analytical skills, self-reliance, and effective negotiation abilities.

Required Skills

Education

Master's or Diploma (University equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Construction Informatics, Surveying, Geoinformatics, Geodesy, Geomatics, or comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation
  • Experience in establishing and communicating unified technical standards
  • Experience in digital project steering and stakeholder coordination
  • Experience in managing and controlling complex digital models, schedules, and cost plans
