Job Summary

This role requires an Advanced Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless production availability of Epitaxy and Rapid Thermal Processing (RTP) equipment within a demanding 24/7 fully continuous shift environment (6 days on, 4 days off). The core responsibility involves performing planned and unplanned maintenance, along with expert troubleshooting of complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical system failures. You will be expected to conduct proactive, in-depth fault analysis utilizing methods such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Fault Detection and Classification (FDC). Success in this position requires meticulous documentation of all maintenance activities, strict adherence to comprehensive safety regulations, and active participation in continuous improvement projects and system upgrades. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background in electrical engineering or mechatronics, several years of practical maintenance experience (preferably in semiconductor manufacturing), and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external service partners.

Required Skills

Education

Technical vocational training with an electrotechnical focus (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or similar)

Experience

  • Several years of specialized professional experience in a technical field (if comparable to technical training)
  • Professional experience in practical maintenance (Preventive Maintenance and troubleshooting)
  • Knowledge of production and maintenance of technical systems (preferably in the semiconductor industry)
  • Experience with SPC and FDC methods (desired)
