Job Summary

This role seeks a proactive and reliable Maintenance Engineer specializing in Wet Chemistry to join a 24/7 continuous shift team at Robert Bosch Semiconductor Manufacturing Dresden. The primary responsibility is ensuring high production availability and stability by executing planned and unplanned maintenance on complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems. The engineer will perform independent and proactive troubleshooting, adhering strictly to safety regulations, and collaborating with internal teams and external service partners. Key tasks include qualifying equipment using defined instructions, operating necessary metrology systems, and applying methods like Statistical Process Control (SPC) to maximize machine uptime. Candidates must possess a technical vocational degree (ideally electrical or mechatronics focus) or a technician qualification, coupled with initial professional experience in practical maintenance, preferably within the semiconductor industry. Fluent German and good English skills are required for detailed documentation and effective team communication.

Required Skills

Technical vocational training (preferably with an electrical focus, e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics) or a Technician degree in a relevant field.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in practical maintenance (Preventive Maintenance and Troubleshooting)
  • Experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry (or supplier) preferred
  • Knowledge of production and maintenance of technical systems and facilities
