Job Summary

The Cybersicherheitsagentur Baden-Württemberg (CSBW) is seeking multiple IT Forensic Specialists to enhance cybersecurity within the region. This role is ideal for professionals who maintain clarity under pressure and possess creative solutions for advancing security measures within a modern, agile public authority. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting forensic investigations of cyber attacks, both remotely and on-site, analyzing digital traces from various IT systems, and preparing detailed reports. You will be instrumental in developing proprietary methods and software tools in the lab to optimize analysis procedures, assessing IT systems and architectures from a security perspective, and collaborating with IT service providers. A critical component of the job involves establishing Incident Readiness across governmental facilities and actively participating in cybersecurity exercises with industry associations and authorities to translate results into concrete security measures. Candidates must possess a scientific university degree in a relevant technical field and extensive professional experience in IT Forensics, specializing in Incident Response or Network Forensics.
