Job Summary

This role seeks an Engineer for Medium/Low Voltage Asset Management to strategically shape the future of distribution networks within Germany's largest grid operator. Key responsibilities include creating sustainable, economic target network plans and operational asset strategies, developing complex connection concepts for renewable energy (EEG) facilities and large customers, and steering the realization of strategic implementation plans across the company. The successful candidate will act as a central technical expert, coordinating measures and financial requirements with network owners/lessors and supporting regional centers in high-value projects. Required qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology and deep knowledge of electrical network planning and optimization. While proficiency in network calculation software (like Neplan) and GIS systems is beneficial, the ability to prioritize work safety, manage complex correlations, communicate clearly, and foster constructive collaboration are essential for success in this impactful position focused on strengthening regional infrastructure and driving the energy transition.
