Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer or Computer Scientist to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the critical infrastructure within the Hamburg distribution network. The core responsibilities involve the administration, ongoing development, and operation of complex technical IT, Operational Technology (OT), and telecommunications systems supporting the Hamburg system control center. A key focus will be the integration and adaptation of the SCADA network control system and managing related new construction and conversion projects. The successful candidate will also coordinate external service providers, provide technical leadership to internal staff, and develop strategic concepts for future network control challenges. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise in system administration, project management skills, and strategic thinking, ideally coupled with experience in the transmission or distribution network operator sector.
