Job Summary

This role involves joining the IT Service Network Construction team, focusing on providing second-level support for the Smart Extranet, the partner firm portal within the E.ON Group. The specialist will actively contribute to the operation and support of IT solutions, concepts, and processes, including creating technical content for ongoing development and operations, particularly within Incident Management, Request Fulfillment, and Change/Release Management. Key responsibilities also include conducting tests and quality assurance, preparing user information and decision templates, and supporting project work, especially during the operational introduction of new features. Candidates should possess a vocational qualification in IT, strong knowledge of Incident Management and user support, and experience with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. The position is initially limited to four years and requires fluent German and good English skills.

Required Skills

Education

Vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT System Electronics Technician, Application Developer, or Digitalization Management Clerk; or a qualified advanced training (e.g., Bachelor Professional in IT) or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Fundamentally knowledge in Incident Management and user support
  • Extensive experience in IT Business Analysis and application operation
  • Experience and knowledge of common agile methods (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Ideally, experience in BizDevOps organizations
  • Ideally, experience in the operational processes of the energy industry
