Job Summary

Join a dynamic family-owned IT and Engineering firm as an IT Support Specialist, providing essential 1st and 2nd Level support. Day-to-day responsibilities involve independently managing user inquiries and technical disruptions, primarily utilizing an established ticketing system. You will be responsible for error analysis and resolution, ensuring smooth IT operations across various system environments, and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including software patching according to internal guidelines. To succeed, you must possess a completed vocational training in IT (such as IT Specialist for System Integration), foundational knowledge of operating systems, Office applications, and mobile devices, and initial practical experience in IT support. This role requires flexibility, including the potential for late and night shifts from Monday to Saturday, and mandatory fluent German and good English skills for technical communication.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in IT Specialist for System Integration, System Electronics, Technical Assistant for Informatics, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Initial practical experience in IT support
  • Initial practical experience handling ticketing systems
  • Experience in telephone customer service (advantageous)
