Job Summary

This role is for an experienced IT Security Specialist who will serve as a key consultant, protecting clients in a rapidly evolving cyberspace. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating, selecting, and implementing modern IT security tools and solutions to secure hosting infrastructure, conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify risks, and advising IT project teams on implementing security requirements according to internal policies and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI-Grundschutz). The specialist will also work closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) on Incident Response Management and continuously monitor the threat landscape to derive preventative measures. The ideal candidate possesses a degree or training in Computer Science, deep knowledge of security technologies and attack mitigation, excellent communication skills, and fluency in both German and English.
