Job Summary

This critical role seeks a skilled Hardware and Subsystem Engineer to define and manage complex device architectures, working closely with hardware and software teams to meet specific customer requirements. Key responsibilities include defining detailed requirements for software, hardware, and FPGA components, and meticulously planning and executing development, integration, qualification, and verification activities. A significant part of the job involves specialized technical tasks such as developing backplanes and EMC filter circuits, supporting system integration, and defining production acceptance tests. Furthermore, the engineer will manage subcontractors and oversee the prototype and series production of assemblies and devices. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, possesses strong coordination and integration skills, and is required to be fluent in both German and English to ensure seamless communication within this renowned company in the Ulm area.
