Job Summary
This role involves providing essential First and Second-Level IT support for client-computing infrastructures at a logistics site in Herborn, Hesse. The specialist will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of IT front-office solutions, including PCs, printers, scanners, and mobile devices, both locally and remotely. Key duties include managing support tickets, handling hardware procurement and configuration, assisting with employee onboarding, and inventorying IT assets. The position also requires assisting with the support of critical business applications (e.g., ERP, CRM) and network/security services. Candidates must possess at least four years of IT support experience, strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office 365, and excellent German language skills. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to work independently and lead IT projects within an international team.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist or IT Specialist for System Integration, or equivalent knowledge acquired through relevant professional experience
Experience
- Minimum of four years in an IT support role
- Professional experience with PCs and their operating systems (Microsoft)
- Solid experience in Office 365, printing, and scanner management
- Experience with databases and their interfaces is desirable
