Job Summary

This role involves developing and maintaining technical standards for control system cabinets within HVDC environments. The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing complex circuits and cabinet layouts, as well as selecting and integrating suitable components while considering technical, economic, and normative requirements. Key duties include defining hardware architectures, creating schematics and layouts using Engineering Base (EB), and optimizing cabinet designs for space, safety, and maintainability. The position requires close collaboration with various departments, technical responsibility for new integrations, and active participation in quality assurance and knowledge transfer. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or comparable qualification (e.g., Bachelor's degree or certified technician)

Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of hardware engineering and associated processes and activities
