Job Summary
This is a challenging and strategic Scientific Coordinator role at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT/UCC) Dresden, part of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), focused on translational cancer research. The coordinator will support the Executive Directorate in all scientific matters, specifically focusing on reporting, scientific controlling, and inter-site coordination within the ONE NCT network. Key responsibilities include preparing scientific reports, grants, and presentations, organizing and supporting scientific events, managing committee meetings (including drafting minutes and tracking resolutions), and maintaining the local research database. The ideal candidate holds a university degree (e.g., in Life Sciences or Medicine) with a Ph.D., possesses experience in translational cancer research and project coordination, and demonstrates excellent organizational, networking, and communication skills in both German and English. This position is a fixed-term parental leave cover until June 2027.
