Job Summary

This role is a unique opportunity for a qualified professional to drive the communication and networking strategy for the Bavarian Orchard Pact. Based at the Bavarian State Research Center for Agriculture (LfL), the Research Associate will be responsible for managing the steering committee activities, developing and implementing communication formats, and building robust information structures to connect various stakeholders. Day-to-day duties involve executive tasks for the steering group, activating actors responsible for the planting and maintenance of orchards, and coordinating closely with ministries, associations, and research institutions. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Agrarian Management, Landscape Ecology, or a related field, possesses strong expertise in agriculture, landscape ecology, and project management, and demonstrates excellent organizational, moderation, and public relations skills to ensure the long-term success of the project.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Agrarian Management, Agrarian Biology, Landscape Ecology, Horticulture, or comparable studies. Proof of recognition for foreign degrees in Germany is required.
