Job Summary

This role involves acting as a crucial link between Engineering and IT departments, focusing on the analysis, quality assurance, and migration of technical engineering data within a robust PLM architecture. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing and profiling technical data sources, conducting thorough quality and consistency checks on legacy data against current business rules, and developing strategies for data cleansing and enrichment. A key responsibility is building and maintaining complex data mappings, including transformations, from source to target data models, particularly supporting migrations into new SAP and Teamcenter systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Technology, or Computer Science, possesses fundamental experience with PLM systems like Teamcenter and SAP, and has basic knowledge of data analysis/automation tools such as Python or Power BI. Excellent communication skills and fluency in both German and English are mandatory prerequisites for success in this demanding technical environment.
