Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced Algorithm Engineer to drive the design and implementation of state-of-the-art algorithms for information and sensor fusion within the high-performance automotive and traffic radar/camera hybrid sensor technology sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, implementing, and rigorously testing algorithms for sensor fusion, object tracking, and occupancy grid mapping, ensuring robust integration by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Key qualifications include a Master's degree in a relevant engineering field, professional experience developing tracking and sensor fusion software, and proficiency in C and Python programming. This position offers a future-oriented, permanent role in Braunschweig, Germany, focusing on innovation in autonomous driving and smart city technology, coupled with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar field
Experience
- Professional experience in developing and implementing state-of-the-art tracking software
- Professional experience in nonlinear state estimation, occupancy grids, and sensor fusion software
- First experience with RADAR systems is beneficial
