Job Summary

The IT Support Engineer will join a 10-person IT Service Management team within a large municipal organization, providing critical technical assistance across a wide spectrum of IT operations. Primary responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of support requests—receiving, analyzing, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and ticketing systems. A significant component of the role involves user support, including training end-users on effective utilization of IT systems and Cloud Services, and performing system administration tasks such as the installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals, and managing access rights. This position requires strong technical proficiency in areas like Microsoft 365, ITSM tools, and general IT infrastructure. Successful candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or comparable vocational training, relevant professional experience in IT support, and demonstrate strong documentation skills, offering an opportunity for varied tasks and professional development within the public sector.
