Job Summary

This is a comprehensive two-year Graduate Entry Program designed for ambitious technical graduates looking to transition into Systems Engineering within the global rail mobility sector. For the initial two years, you will be heavily involved in the commissioning phase of rail vehicles and their complex subsystems, including networks, passenger information systems, safety devices, power converters, and braking controls. Key daily tasks involve static and dynamic commissioning, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults during commissioning and warranty phases, performing installation checks, and managing software downloads and validation in collaboration with the Engineering department. You will also support crucial test drives. This role requires a degree in System Technology, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering, strong practical affinity, and B1 proficiency in both German and English. Required Skills

Education

University Degree (FH / ETH / TU) in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with good academic performance.

Experience

  • Completed apprenticeship in the electrical field (advantageous)
  • High level of commitment and rapid comprehension ability
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20%)
