Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious HMI Engineer passionate about innovation and technology, focusing on developing and maintaining Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software for complex systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and maintaining technical specifications and manuals, coordinating concepts and visual representations with internal teams, customers, and suppliers, and developing the core HMI software. A key part of the job involves designing operational functionalities, plant visualizations, and managing operating states/parameters, as well as configuring the central reporting system. The successful candidate will integrate and test HMI components in the test setup in Erlangen, ensure flawless configuration and function, and support acceptance tests and on-site commissioning. This position requires a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, strong experience in HMI system project planning, and excellent command of German and English, offering the opportunity to work on exciting projects for renowned clients.
