Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious PLC Programmer/Automation Engineer to drive technological innovation for prominent clients in the Electrical and Automation Engineering sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include the full lifecycle of automation systems, encompassing the creation, programming, and commissioning of controls for complex machinery and plant construction. You will be responsible for optimizing existing PLC programs, conducting thorough system testing, and implementing bus systems and HMI visualizations. A crucial part of the job involves final commissioning and handover to clients, both domestically and internationally, including providing comprehensive customer training. You will also contribute to the standardization and further development of PLC and HMI systems. To succeed, you must possess a Certified State Technician qualification or a degree in a relevant engineering field, coupled with professional experience in PLC project planning and commissioning. Expertise in platforms like TIA Portal, Siemens Step 7, Allen-Bradley, or Beckhoff, alongside visualization tools such as WinCC, is essential. The position requires fluency in German, good English skills, and a willingness to travel and work shifts.
