Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Cisco Network Technician joining an IT services provider in Nuremberg, focusing on Managed Services, IT Infrastructure, and System Integration. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and managing network management systems, administering Cisco routing and switching infrastructure, implementing and supporting copper and fiber-based access technology, and resolving incidents via a ticketing system. The technician will also actively participate in network projects. Key qualifications include a completed vocational education in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration), practical experience with Cisco networking and TCP/IP, and a willingness to work within a rotating shift model (5-day week, Monday to Saturday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM).
