Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Electronics Technician passionate about electrical systems, seeking a full-time, permanent position in a day shift environment at the Walterhausen location. Day-to-day responsibilities include the acceptance, setup, and preparation of control cabinets for testing. You will be responsible for ensuring test readiness by connecting auxiliary power supplies, wiring test modules according to specifications, and providing crucial support during testing and acceptance procedures in the test field. Additionally, the role involves building prototypes and test racks, performing minor repairs and rework on wiring, and conducting comprehensive final inspections of control cabinets (visual, insulation, leakage current, protective conductor tests) before preparing them for shipment. The ideal candidate holds a completed professional qualification in electronics or electrical engineering and possesses solid professional experience, particularly with control cabinets and the readiness to potentially be appointed as a qualified electrician according to DGUV regulations.
