Job Summary

As a Facility Operations Manager in Berlin, you will take on a leadership role responsible for the comprehensive technical management of building facilities. Your daily responsibilities include the disciplinary and technical leadership of the on-site team, ensuring all contractually agreed technical services are met, and managing personnel deployment. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding all technical matters, overseeing the operation and maintenance of complex technical systems. This role demands a strong focus on quality control, cost management, and performance monitoring. The position is particularly attractive as it offers an indefinite permanent contract with a clear path to direct employment at the partner company, supported by a structured collective agreement (GVP) that includes holiday and Christmas bonuses, as well as a company pension scheme.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Engineering, or Technical Building Management; OR Master Craftsman (Meister) in Electrical Engineering/HVAC; OR Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering, Supply Engineering, or Building Technology; OR Facility Management Specialist (Fachwirt).

Experience

  • Professional experience in technical facility management or technical building services (TGA)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing technical teams
  • Experience in facility operations management (Objektleitung)
  • Proven track record in managing complex technical systems and maintenance operations

Languages

German (Fluent)
