Job Summary

This role offers a crisis-proof, permanent position as a Service Technician within a regional energy provider in Frankfurt, specializing in the operation and maintenance of hydropower plants. The core responsibilities involve ensuring the safe and economical function of the facilities through scheduled inspections, proactive maintenance, and necessary repairs. A key part of the job is independent troubleshooting and fault resolution to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate must be adept at technical control, able to monitor and assist external contractors, and capable of making critical decisions regarding facility operation or shutdown during malfunctions, in consultation with management. This position provides regulated working hours and compensation according to the Public Service Collective Agreement (TVÖD), offering a stable and engaging work environment.
