Job Summary

This role involves serving as an Engineer within the Technical Building Equipment and Technical Property Operations department for the City of Gelsenkirchen, focusing on electrical systems and building automation. Day-to-day tasks include planning, tendering, awarding, construction management, invoicing, and monitoring electronic systems for new public buildings and existing structures, following all service phases (Lph. 1-9) according to HOAI standards. A core responsibility is managing building control technology, including its planning, operation, maintenance, and expansion, along with integrating new components. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Automation Technology and demonstrate economic thinking, strong teamwork skills, and professional experience in building automation planning and supervision.
