Job Summary

This role as a Version Preparation Designer ESI involves crucial work at the intersection of electrical systems definition and detailed installation design for aircraft components at Airbus Operations in Hamburg. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and pre-defining the geometry, routing, and fastening of electrical wiring, acting as the primary interface between systemic definitions and the creation of detailed manufacturing drawings. You will be responsible for evaluating large datasets using specialized Airbus tools and assessing the impact of change requests on the overall aircraft configuration. Key qualifications include a technical degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification, coupled with professional experience in Change Management, Configuration Management, and Engineering Design. Success requires proficiency in specialized tools like ICC, Catia V5, and the Taksy/Gesy/Tesy suite, along with fluent German and proficient English skills, making this an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-level aviation projects.
