Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent university graduate to join Agroscope, the Swiss federal center for agricultural research, as a University Intern. The successful candidate will actively contribute to a critical research project focused on the spread and control of Grapevine Yellows Disease and its vectors. Day-to-day tasks will involve collecting essential field data across various vineyard regions north of the Alps, identifying insects, preparing laboratory samples, and conducting mapping and landscape characterization using GIS software. A key part of the role is the processing and management of the collected data, alongside supporting the dissemination of research results. Candidates must hold a recently completed degree (within the last 12 months) in Agronomy, Biology, or Environmental Sciences, possess strong knowledge of Entomology and GIS, and demonstrate high commitment and team spirit. This role is ideal for those interested in practical, applied research and requires excellent written and spoken English, in addition to knowledge of two Swiss official languages.
