Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated Commissioning Engineer or Technician to join Mercedes-Benz Energy GmbH, focusing on innovative energy storage solutions, including 2nd Life vehicle battery applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, functional testing, and final commissioning of energy storage systems. Day-to-day tasks involve performing system tests based on specifications, implementing software updates and adjustments using tools like Siemens TIA Portal/PCS 7, and conducting independent fault analysis and resolution. The position requires extensive travel to supplier and customer sites across Europe. Key qualifications include a degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field, strong technical understanding, and proficiency in both German and English.
