Job Summary

This senior role involves leading and managing complex rail control and safety technology (LST) projects for Deutsche Bahn's regional infrastructure division, the Westfrankenbahn. The Senior Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, overseeing the entire lifecycle from preliminary planning through to project completion. Key responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing project costs, evaluating supplementary claims, and handling official and expert acceptance procedures. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in electrical or industrial engineering, coupled with substantial project management experience in transportation infrastructure, and deep knowledge of LST systems. This position offers significant autonomy regarding work location within Germany, though regular travel to the Aschaffenburg office and various construction sites is required.
