Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in energy and automation technology, tasked with independently managing technical projects for the planning and implementation of a new direct reduction plant, including all auxiliary trades. Day-to-day responsibilities involve clarifying technical requirements, defining functional sequences, and overseeing the quality, schedule, and budget adherence of the project. The engineer will develop technical concepts, design components for medium/low voltage supply, drive systems, automation and control systems, and high-current technology for the melting furnace. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical, Energy, or Automation Engineering, or equivalent technical certification, coupled with professional project experience, preferably in the metal or chemical industry. Success requires strong knowledge of legal regulations and standards, along with fluent German and English skills for effective communication across internal departments, customers, and suppliers.
