Job Summary

This role involves serving as the operational contact point for technical and organizational data protection, supporting management and departments in all data protection processes, and coordinating with the Data Protection Officer. Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and monitoring advanced IT security measures, particularly within environments subject to security clearance (geheimschutzbetreutes Umfeld). The engineer will define data protection-relevant procedures, manage the central register of processing activities, and conduct monitoring of IT systems by correlating cross-platform events. Candidates must possess a degree in IT or a comparable qualification, coupled with several years of professional experience in both IT security system conception/administration and technical/administrative IT security management. Expertise in ISO/IEC 27000 standards and current cyber-security requirements is essential, alongside strong German and English language skills.
