Job Summary

The Information Security Manager will act as the central interface between the Product Organization and the 2nd Line of Defense within REWE digital's IT Security domain, focusing on enhancing the security culture and enabling teams to develop robust, secure software. Day-to-day responsibilities include informing leadership (Domain Management, Product Owners, Engineering Managers) about current security guidelines, legal requirements, and implementation status, as well as providing counsel on the security status of their domain. The role involves promoting compliance with security requirements within product teams, driving the prioritization and coordination of security optimization measures, and supporting the development of security policies and penetration testing coordination. Key qualifications include multi-year professional experience in IT security, stakeholder management, or project leadership, coupled with strong communication and coordination skills, and a relevant degree or vocational qualification in IT or Information Security.
