Job Summary

The IT License Manager will play a crucial role in expanding the License Management Team, ensuring the transparency, compliance, and economic efficiency of software licensing across the REWE Group IT. This key position acts as an intermediary between product teams, architects, and IT procurement. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring organizational compliance with all deployed software licenses, identifying potential savings and optimization opportunities, and serving as the central contact for group-wide licensing issues. The manager will also take central responsibility for coordinating and executing license audits, continuously optimizing Software Asset Management (SAM) processes, and managing relationships with specific software vendors and external service providers. Candidates should possess a strong background in software licensing, particularly concerning major vendors like SAP, IBM, and Oracle, coupled with contract law knowledge and experience in conducting audits.
