Job Summary

This role involves developing critical solutions for connecting new customer facilities—ranging from large industrial consumers and EV charging infrastructure to wind and solar power plants—to the electricity grid. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing network connections and precise metering systems for electricity consumption and feed-in. Key daily tasks include handling complex energy economic inquiries related to topics such as Redispatch 2.0, feed-in tariffs, and gas crisis preparedness. The position requires managing the entire network connection process, from technical conception and contract drafting through to the finalization of connection and usage agreements. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in electrical engineering or related fields who wish to apply their expertise in a major distribution network operator in the energy sector, contributing actively to the implementation of new legal, contractual, and technical requirements.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Economics, Industrial Engineering, (Business) Law, or a comparable qualification

Experience

  • Knowledge of grid operation and energy economic regulations (Beneficial)
  • Experience with various systems, particularly those with an energy economic background
