Energy Network Connection Specialist | Bachelor / Master Engineering (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is based in Bad Bentheim, working full-time for a renowned distribution network operator in the energy sector. The specialist will be responsible for developing comprehensive solutions for connecting new customer facilities to the power grid, ranging from large industrial clients and EV charging infrastructure to wind and solar power plants. Key daily tasks include the technical planning of grid connections, designing metering systems, and independently managing complex energy economics topics such as Redispatch, feed-in tariffs, and gas crisis preparedness. The position requires coordinating technical and commercial requirements, overseeing the entire connection process from planning through contract drafting (network connection and usage agreements), and actively participating in projects implementing new legal and technical standards. Candidates should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Law, ideally possessing knowledge of network operations and energy regulatory compliance.
