Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the planning of 50 Hz electrical energy systems across fascinating infrastructure projects for Deutsche Bahn, covering planning phases 1-7 and 9 of the HOAI standard. Based in Erfurt, the Planning Engineer will advise Project Managers on service delivery, coordinate necessary public permits and approvals with clients and regulatory authorities, and ensure project execution adheres strictly to cost, schedule, and quality requirements. A core component of the job includes supporting the preparation of specifications, tendering processes, and subcontractor awards, alongside involvement in project-specific change order (Nachtrags) and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and professional experience, bringing an independent, analytical, and economic mindset to generate technical improvements and rationalization opportunities for Germany's critical rail infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed university or technical college degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering, or comparable vocational training combined with extensive professional experience.
