Job Summary

This role involves working as a Research Associate within the Clinic for Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology, collaborating closely with the Faculty of Applied Computer Science at the University of Augsburg. The successful candidate will independently manage and coordinate one or more research projects, focusing heavily on medical informatics, movement analysis, and neuroscientific evaluation of electrophysiological brain activity. Key responsibilities include designing and executing experiments, developing and validating AI-supported prediction and classification models, and publishing results in leading international journals and conferences. This position requires an outstanding background in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or Signal Analysis, excellent programming skills (C++, Java, Python, or similar), and strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. Outstanding Master's degree or outstanding Doctorate (PhD) in Computer Science with a focus on Bioinformatics, Medical Informatics, or Signal Analysis
