This permanent, full-time position as a Radiochemical Laboratory Technician is based in Erlangen, Germany, with a start date of March 1, 2026. The core responsibilities involve executing and documenting routine radiochemical analyses according to laboratory guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include detailed sample preparation, such as drying, grinding, ashing, and microwave digestion, followed by precise radionuclide separation as per analytical procedures. You will also perform basic measurement tasks using Alpha, Beta, and Gamma Spectrometry and assist with the planning of analysis orders. Key qualifications include a completed Chemical Laboratory Technician apprenticeship and professional experience focusing on the preparative processing of radioactive substances. Candidates must possess medical fitness for radiation protection and the required security clearance (ZÜP) for working in controlled areas.
