Job Summary

This role involves technical preparation and administration of CAD/CAM data crucial for shipbuilding production processes. The Technical Administrator will be responsible for creating burning diagrams and cutting plans for sheet metal and profiles, optimizing material utilization using Nesting procedures, and developing technical specifications based on construction documents and CAD models. A key component of the job is close, interdisciplinary coordination with design, manufacturing, and warehouse logistics teams. Candidates must possess a technical background, ideally as a Technician, coupled with at least five years of professional experience in shipbuilding, particularly with knowledge of shipbuilding design. Proficiency in CAD systems (such as AutoCAD, SiemensNX, or AVEVAMarine) and Nesting software is essential, ensuring efficient and structured preparation of raw materials and production data within a leading marine technology company.
