Job Summary

This role seeks a Development Manager to lead the IBM co-engineering team within the BTP ABAP Infrastructure Platforms unit at SAP. The manager will coordinate engineers from both SAP and IBM to integrate IBM Db2 and various IBM operating systems (AIX, Linux on Power, Linux on IBM Z, z/OS) into core SAP technology stacks (NetWeaver, ABAP platform, HANA). Day-to-day responsibilities include leading a dynamic team, overseeing technical aspects of certification and maintenance, fostering strong collaboration with IBM counterparts, and advising on partner contracts and commercial terms. This position is crucial for ensuring end-to-end quality and performance for high-profile customers with complex SAP installations, requiring strong strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and fluency in both English and German.
