Job Summary

This role involves performing and documenting routine radiochemical analyses according to laboratory specifications in Erlangen. The technician will be responsible for comprehensive sample preparation, including drying, grinding, ashing, and microwave digestion, alongside executing radionuclide separation as per analytical procedures. Key daily tasks include simple measurement tasks using Alpha, Beta, and Gamma spectrometry, and assisting with the planning and execution of analytical orders. The ideal candidate must be a certified Chemical Laboratory Technician with professional experience in radiochemical work, particularly in preparative techniques. Crucially, the role requires medical suitability for radiation protection and the willingness to work in a controlled area, including undergoing a security clearance (ZÜP).
