Job Summary

This role involves collaborating with the Industrial Engineering team to plan and optimize work processes within the locomotive and passenger train carriage painting center. The successful candidate will define optimal workflows based on engineering documents, create visualized work plans, and actively contribute to sustainable cost reduction and performance enhancement using a strong LEAN mindset. A key responsibility is programming robots in the sandblasting and painting cabins. Furthermore, the planner will support cross-functional teams in implementing innovative technologies and automation solutions. Ideal candidates possess a technical Bachelor's degree or a specialized painting qualification (Technician/Master Craftsman) with relevant experience in surface treatment, industrial engineering, or production planning, coupled with fluent German and good English skills.

Required Skills

Education

Technical Bachelor's degree; OR completed training as a Painter with further qualification as a Paint Technician or Paint Master Craftsman

Experience

  • Initial experience in surface treatment and Industrial Engineering, Work Preparation, Production Planning, or Manufacturing Planning (if holding a Bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of experience in surface treatment (if holding a Painter/Technician qualification)
  • Initial experience in programming industrial robots (desirable)
  • Proven practical application of LEAN knowledge
