Job Summary

This role involves elevating the geodata landscape for critical infrastructure planning, specifically focusing on motorway networks. The Geoinformatics Specialist will be responsible for designing, building, and continuously developing a high-performance Geodata Infrastructure (GDI) and quality-assured geodata management system. Key daily tasks include analyzing, evaluating, and visualizing extensive geodata using GIS tools, ensuring data quality, and creating conceptual frameworks (including use cases and data protection guidelines). The specialist will also develop and coordinate specialized GIS applications, working closely with internal departments and central technical committees, and conducting training sessions for end-users. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in Geoinformatics or Geodesy who possesses strong conceptual skills, experience with large datasets, and a structured, solution-oriented approach to complex infrastructure challenges.
