Job Summary

This role is for a Senior Physician specializing in Hospital Hygiene, located at a prominent university hospital in Munich. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Infection Prevention and Clinic Hygiene department, taking on all responsibilities of a Hospital Hygienist. Day-to-day tasks involve actively shaping and developing infection prevention strategies, conducting training and educational sessions for various professional groups, and contributing specialized knowledge to academic teaching. There are opportunities to collaborate with the Antimicrobial Stewardship (ABS) team, work on joint projects with the Infectiology department, and cooperate closely with the Institute for Medical Microbiology, Immunology, and Hygiene at the Technical University of Munich. This position requires a specialist certification in relevant fields such as Microbiology, Virology, or Hygiene and offers an intellectually demanding and varied role with significant interdisciplinary collaboration.
