Job Summary

This temporary, full or part-time PhD position, funded for 36 months by the DFG Research Training Group RTG 2668, focuses on investigating innate immune mechanisms that drive tolerance induction during allergen-specific immunotherapy (AIT). The successful candidate will join the Respiratory Immunology research group at the ZAUM (Center for Allergy and Environment) in Munich, a collaboration between TUM Klinikum Rechts der Isar and Helmholtz Zentrum München. Day-to-day tasks involve independent planning and execution of experiments utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as high-dimensional flow cytometry, transcriptomics, proteomics, and single-cell sequencing. The role requires a Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or a related field, practical experience in molecular biology or immunology, and excellent English skills.
