Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position, based in Innsbruck, involves the independent management, organization, and execution of road construction projects within the low-ranking rural road network. The engineer will handle the entire project lifecycle, including planning, construction management, billing, and final surveying on behalf of local road administrators (municipalities, road associations) in the Tyrolean lowlands. Key responsibilities include coordinating construction projects, managing subsidy processing, and providing technical consulting on road rehabilitation and maintenance, with a focus on geotechnical aspects and supporting structures. Required Skills

Education

Higher Technical Institute (HTL) diploma with a focus on Civil Engineering/Deep Foundation Engineering (Tiefbau)

Experience

  • Professional experience in road construction and road maintenance (advantageous)
  • Specialized technical knowledge in deep foundation engineering (Geotechnics, supporting structures) (advantageous)
  • Very good knowledge of specific guidelines and standards in rural road construction (advantageous)
  • Experience in project planning, construction execution, and billing
