Job Summary

This role involves the administration, configuration, and ongoing development of the d.velop d.3 Document Management System (DMS) within a university setting. The specialist will be crucial in the digital transformation efforts, focusing on optimizing business processes by establishing, maintaining, and refining filing structures, file plans, and access hierarchies. Key responsibilities include developing complex authorization structures, implementing roles and rights concepts, and translating departmental requirements into effective DMS solutions. The position requires expertise in workflow implementation, metadata modeling, quality assurance, testing, and providing technical user support for d.3, including updates and migrations. Ideal candidates possess a strong IT background, proficiency with Windows Servers and SQL databases, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-engagement, interdisciplinary environment, contributing significantly to the efficiency of digital processes.

Required Skills

Education

Completed (Technical) University Degree (Bachelor or FH Diploma) in IT or a comparable completed relevant vocational training and professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a relevant field (if possessing a non-IT specific education)
  • Experience in rights and structure management within d.velop d.3 (advantageous)
  • Professional experience in developing file plans and efficient organizational structures
  • Experience in developing authorization concepts and understanding document workflows

  • Duty station is Lippstadt, Germany. Must be able to work in a high-stress environment while maintaining an overview. The position is permanent (unbefristet) and full-time, with potential for part-time, and is classified up to salary group 11 (TV-L).
