Job Summary

This role involves working as a Functional Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) Engineer for AIRBUS Defence and Space, focusing on critical testing campaigns for space hardware. The successful candidate will primarily execute Thermal-Vacuum (TVAC) and Calibration & Characterization (C&C) test campaigns, often performed in shifts. Key responsibilities include maintaining and improving test procedures, critically evaluating results, and analyzing events to identify root causes and implement pragmatic solutions under time pressure, ensuring the flight hardware remains undamaged. The engineer must collaborate closely with project teams to define optimal test strategies concerning quality, time, and cost. This position requires a background in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Embedded Systems, professional experience with space standards (ECSS), and experience in network management and SCOS2k databases.
